News about myself

I have told a couple of my friends on here, nearly everyone in my RL and several people in my family - but I have been offered places at two universities to do my Masters, namely King's College London and Birkbeck, UoL. I have until the 30th to get back to KCL about whether I accept or decline so I am having to force myself to sit down and *think* for once about what to do.

It would be to study Medieval Studies @ or Medieval Literature and Theory @ Birkbeck. Both courses are effectively the same thing, so it really comes down to which university is best.

Naturally the choice will ultimately be mine but I have this nasty habit of asking people's opinions about which one *they* think is better and then when they tell me I feel the pressure of, "Oh no! What if I disappoint *insert name here*?" when I really shouldn't care.

Anyway, if anyone knows anything about either college or has some insight/wisdom to share, go ahead and let me know. Otherwise, I'm hoping that over this weekend I'll finally have a concrete answer. Again, I have until the 30th... which means I want to have my choice in by the 28th/29th. Eep.
